THE MOMENT THEY WALKED IN YOU JUST KNEW THEY WOULD BE AMAZING PEOPLE

The day started with us arriving early to set up and prepare. It was minutes later when we met the couple for the first time as they entered Chanmayay Satipatthana Vihara in Springfield, Illinois. A quick friendly wave (as they entered) and they immediately began their ceremony. We were so happy for them to have this moment. As a husband and wife team, we had a good idea of how they must have felt in that moment.

It was truly an honor to be the wedding photographer for Nang and Pyae at Chanmayay Satipatthana Vihara. This unique venue in Springfield, Illinois, was the perfect setting for their special day. The couple was so amazing to work with, and we feel so lucky to have been a part of their wedding day. We got some great shots of the two of them together, as well as with their families. We're so happy for them and we wish them all the best in their new life together! Thanks again, Nang and Pyae!

Tasha and Aaron took the country chic feel of The Homestead Reception Center in Tallula, Illinois and elevated chic to a whole new level! The bride was stunning in her long trained, beaded gown, all her ladies rocked unique dresses and the guys cleaned up pretty well too! The girls and guys all held great spirits (figuratively and in a cup!) as they got dressed and ready, photographed and pampered.
 
The highlight of the morning must have been the first look that Tasha planned for their three year old son. Greyson stood behind the barn doors with mom just on the other side. The doors opened and the moment of him seeing her and their sweet hugs would have melted any heart!
 
Many thanks were given for the beautiful weather- the kind that is comfortable and enjoyable to be sitting outside and watching two amazing people get married! Their ceremony was short and sweet, with sweet exchanged smiles, stolen glances and ultimately two people uniting in a first kiss and grand announcement- husband and wife!
 
There were so many amazing moments of the day! The couple’s energized entrance and first dance, sincere moments of parent dances, fun toasts and a band that absolutely rocked it! Can we take a sec to recognize Aaron called to stage to take up the mic and sing along to all his guests?!
 
This couple spent time thinking out each moment of the day, working with their coordinator who was a pleasure to work with, making sure that their guests were well taken care of with an abundance of snacks, drinks and a bbq spread fit for the upscale barn that it all went down in!
