"Tonight will not just be another wedding that you have attended, it's going to be an experience and you have a front row seat, so enjoy." -Steven Pingolt Photo: Tellico Village Yacht Club, Loudon, Tennessee When North meets South is indeed the perfect description of Steven and Brittany. This Independence Day their family truly met in the middle to celebrate their wedding (finally!) Gathering at Tellico Village Yacht Club in Loudon, Tennessee there was a mix of emotions- so much laughter and love with a light sprinkle of tears. Steven said a wedding should have a mix of extreme happiness and a few moments of heartache; tears of joy and sadness. Photo: Bride & Bridesmaids by having fun @makeupdess, @beautybybrouse, @the.ginger.snap and Leah Studio's at Sola Suites. The day began just as any other wedding with a few moments of chaos until settling into the day and riding out the fast paced roller coaster of the wedding day. The girls were pampered by an entire crew- Destiny, Bailey, Jessi and Leah. These ladies did an amazing job and made everyone feel confident and look beautiful!
Photo: Surprise Number One- Dad's Tie from Brittany, Bride and Dad's First Look, and Bride & Groom's First Look We connected well with Brittany's Dad as he was the adult version of our own Chris Withers- ornery with quick quips. He received the first surprise of the day- a customized tie from Brittany. Dad got the first peek at Brittany and his tie followed by a groom guided first look in the reception space. Both moments were simple and adorable. Photo: Surprise Number Two- Custom Cookies from Foxden Baking Co, a surprise from Lisa, Steven's mom. Lisa snuck in her own surprise, pretty and yummy custom cookies by Foxden Baking Co. Brittany was stunned while Steven didn't see the surprise- he had already brought them in to the cake table and had eaten one already! Ha! It was still a sweet surprise ;) Photo: Formals of the Bride + Groom and Wedding Party It was a hot July day but Tellico Village Yacht Club had so many beautiful locations to work with to take photos of Brittany, Steven and their crew. The entire venue and boardwalk boasted pretty views of the lake and the venue rested on soft hills which made for great photographs! Photo: Time for nuptuals! Ceremony on the boardwalk. Time to say 'I do'! The ceremony was customized with a ceremony first look, the grooms brother, Tyler, officiating and a special gift to the bride and groom. The special gift? A shirt won from the restaurant where Steven first met Brittany with the wedding date embroidered using a shirt from Steven's grandmother. A rosary was also given that was made from flowers from Steven's grandmother's funeral. Photo: Reception details. Cake by Foxden Bakery Co. Time to partay! You may have picked up on a couple secrets that had to be kept from earlier in the day, but wait there's more! The reception was full of secrets! The night started with a delicious nacho and taco bar, and tamales. Sprinkled throughout the entire reception was surprise personalized videos filmed by Chris Withers Photography. There was a video from Brittany and Steven to their family and wedding party, videos from Steven to Brittany and Brittany to Steven and a super duper surprise video for Tyler's business venture, a commercial featuring Brittany & Steven for Blue Line Resort in Murphysboro, Illinois. "Don't forget to give him the finger guns!" The night had just two more surprises! Brittany and Steven snuck out to do a costume change! Steven in the white tux and purple button down he always wanted and Brittany in her chic floral skirt and solid top. These outfits were revealed with a stroll down the boardwalk to meet in the middle, moments after their last video dedicated to their grandparents played and moments before their last HUGE surprise! After guests were ushered outside to watch the last video, fireworks filled the sky over the water. Brittany and Steven worked for months to setup an elaborate plan to hire a professional fireworks artists to supply their guests with a heavy helping of Fourth of July fireworks! The day was hot, the destination wedding proved to be a few months of chaos and a couple moments of stress the day of, all leading up to the marriage of these two deserving people. We wish you all the best! Vendors Photography | Chris Withers Photography
